Pfizer engaged A/Z to manage the transformation of an existing cafeteria into an auditorium and conference center on a fast-track basis. Rows of graded auditorium-style seating now face a stage at the front of the facility. A control room was located behind the seating and at the rear of the auditorium. This area is flanked by two new conference rooms, and additional conference and multi-purpose rooms were constructed across the corridor. A pair of new restrooms were built out across the corridor from the main auditorium entrance vestibule. The work was executed while the facility and Pfizer’s surrounding buildings remain active, making a high level of coordination between Pfizer and A/Z critical to the success of this project.
