A/Z supported the electrical and civil work required for campus-wide upgrades to the University of Bridgeport’s electrical distribution system. The civil work scope included excavation and backfill, concrete for new duct banks, substation improvements, and the installation of safety bollards at all new transformers. The construction team was responsible for furnishing and installing nine pad-mounted gas switches, pad-mounted transformers, and approximately 36,000 feet of cable, enabling the majority of the campus to utilize the new 15 kV infrastructure.
