The expansion and renovation of the Westerly YMCA branch has strengthened its position as an asset to the surrounding community. The exterior of the building was completely renovated with a new, modern entrance and a new addition. Inside, the facility underwent a comprehensive renovation; it now features a new wellness center, teen center, child watch/kids adventure center, community multipurpose areas, group exercise studios, locker rooms, and community lounge/lobby areas. The reimagined YMCA was designed by Triangle2 and Annino Associates.
