The replacement of a cooling tower at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s active manufacturing campus was a carefully orchestrated initiative. The A/Z team managed the shutdown of the unit and the removal of the mechanical and electrical ties to the central utility plant. The cooling tower was then removed and replaced by a new 6,000-ton, 4-cell cooling tower.
