The hydrogenation laboratory within Boehringer Ingelheim’s process development facility in Ridgefield, CT underwent a number of critical upgrades.  The project scope included HEL reactors, support utilities including hydrogen, chemical/solvent storage, bench top analytical equipment, walk-in fume hoods, and finishes. The work also encompassed the tie-in of all new equipment into the facility’s MEP infrastructure. An air handling unit and exhaust system controlled by an upgraded BMS system integrated into the building controls now precisely regulates lab atmosphere and climate.
