As the world’s largest supplier of metrology equipment and software, Hexagon Metrology, was in need of a new North American Headquarters. The facility supports administrative and manufacturing requirements, including offices; a machine shop; and assembly, receiving, maintenance, and inspection areas. The project team made use of several value engineering items, including modifying the specified glass and utilizing a roofing system that could be installed in colder weather, to reduce costs and ensure the project met its aggressive 12-month schedule. A/Z managed the LEED-inspired design/build program, teaming with architects The S/L/A/M Collaborative and Vanderweil Engineers.
