WARMER WEATHER HAS ARRIVED

Here's Some Quick Seasonal Safety Tips

Mild temperatures can mask signs of dehydration. Be sure to hydrate even when it may not feel hot.

Be mindful of ticks and stinging insects as they become active in this weather.

Morning dew and overnight rain can leave surfaces slick—especially metal walkways, scaffolding,  roofs, and ladders.

GOOD CATCH OF THE WEEK

A spray foam subcontractor observed scaffolding that was not fully planked on the Lonza project site in Portsmouth, NH. To prevent any incidents, scaffolders added Osha planks.

Thank you to our subcontractors for staying sharp and attentive!

LIFE SAFETY ABSOLUTE REMINDER

Implement Fall Protection Measures

This year, most of our LSA violations stem from working at heights without proper fall protection.

Remember that we must always use guardrails, tie-backs, or 100% tie-off with a harness whenever you’re 6 feet or higher (or per the client’s requirement).

Embracing our LSAs protects everyone’s wellbeing and helps ensure we all make it home safely.

BEHIND THE BUILD

Fun Fact

Do you know how A/Z got its name? Many years ago, when phone books were the go-to resource, our founder Ed Lorenz had the foresight to name the company A/Z, knowing it would appear at the top of the listings when clients searched for a contractor.

Forward-thinkers from the start, A/Z continues to set the standard for what's next.
