GOOD CATCH OF THE WEEK
While preparing to move a large steel plate to its final mounting point inside the building, an A/Z TM assessed the size, weight, and configuration of the load. Recognizing the risk of injury if handled alone, they arranged a team lift to relocate the plate safely.
Manual material handling injuries are a leading cause of jobsite incidents. Taking a moment to assess the load and get help prevented strain or injury.
Strength is knowing when to call in backup.
