An insulation subcontractor at the Lonza Mid-Scale Lynx Project encountered an obstruction while trying to reach overhead piping—MEP equipment blocked access, and stepping on a midrail was the only apparent option. Instead of proceeding unsafely, the team stopped work and coordinated a new plan to reach the area without compromising fall protection standards.
