Thomas Giammattei, A/Z Superintendent from the Milford office supporting the Yale University MPSA program, has stepped into an expanded Field Supervisory role, and we’re pleased to recognize this well-deserved advancement. He will oversee and work alongside Superintendents Kevin Curry and Richard Rorick, partnering with Program Manager John Hennessy to ensure all field work meets A/Z’s standards. Tom will also coordinate closely with Operations team members—Malinda Eveleno, Jeffrey Luzzi, Todd Oppelt, Josh Swanson, Aric Kirsch, and Michael Solano—to support seamless project delivery to our valued client, Yale. At the ED Reno project site at L+M in New London, CT, a subcontractor TM, while performing 4th-floor duct work above the ceiling in a tight area, stopped work and requested cut-resistant sleeves for added arm protection. The A/Z Superintendent provided the necessary PPE, allowing the task to continue safely and preventing a potential cut or laceration.
Stopping work and securing proper protection avoids injuries.
