At the Sterling Dry Storage Facility, just prior to Stretch & Flex, a drywall subcontractor was observed bringing stilts into the work area (though they were not yet in use). Since stilts are prohibited in Massachusetts, the subcontractor was instructed to refrain from using them and to use an approved alternative method. The subcontractor complied and used a ladder instead.
Staying aware is key to preventing accidents and maintaining a safe workplace.
