Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) announced that A/Z is among 59 contractors to receive a 2025 National Health and Safety Excellence Award, recognizing outstanding achievements in safety performance and a continued commitment to jobsite health and safety.
Our safety performance is nearly seven times better than the industry average. Well done to the entire A/Z team for continuing to set the standard!
We’re excited to share that A/Z has been selected to lead a major renovation for the Island Institute in Rockland, Maine. This impactful nonprofit is dedicated to strengthening Maine’s coastal communities and addressing climate change—and we’re proud to support that mission.
The 19,500 SF, four-story renovation will transform the Institute’s headquarters into a more dynamic, collaborative, and welcoming space. Designed for staff, partners, and the community, this project will bring new energy and functionality to every level.
This is just the beginning—more to come as the project takes shape!
The first roof truss is up at Westerly Tower Street Community Center! Looking forward to seeing the progress in the coming months.

Program Highlights
· Team members are eligible for up to $100 reimbursement for safety glasses that meet the ANSI Z87 or Z87+ safety standard. · Team Members are also eligible for 100% reimbursement for a standard annual vision exam. · This benefit applies whether or not you are enrolled in our vision insurance plan (VSP).
How to Submit
· Complete the Safety Vision Reimbursement Form located on the file portal under Human Resources (see link below). · Attach an itemized receipt to the filled-out form.
