We’re excited to share that A/Z has been awarded the Rhode Island Energy Melrose Phase 2 Project for PPL Energy with a bid amount of $19.1 million. The project is located in Providence, RI.  The scope of work includes the logistically challenging renovation of approximately 70,000 SF of partially occupied facilities with work that includes interior architectural renovations, selective demolition, major structural improvements, MEPFP upgrades, elevator replacement, and two new exterior stair towers. This is a 12-month project with work starting in June 2026 and finishing in June 2027.

Last Thursday, A/Z team members proudly represented us at the ABC Annual Membership Meeting—and brought home 3 awards!      The 2026 Top Performers Award      The Accredited Quality Contractor       The 2026 Merit Cup Award

       Project Update Yale University MPSA 

      1201 Chapel Exterior Restoration is underway, led by Josh Swanson and Pat Reddick to freshen up the windows and siding, with completion expected by the end of July.

      Sterling Power Plant Breaching Replacement, led by Malinda Eveleno and Tom Giammattei, starts this week to replace deteriorated breaching at the active masonry smokestack and remove obsolete mechanical equipment on an adjacent roof. The project is set to wrap up by June 30.

       Project Update Yale University MPSA 

      Howard Ave Garage Repairs & Code Blue system, led by Jeff Luzzi and Rick Rorick, is in progress and scheduled for completion by 11/23/26.

      Ingalls Rink Ice Chiller Replacement, led by Aric Kirsch, Kevin Curry, and Ray Souhrada, begins April 13 with completion before the fall hockey season.

Safety  Vision Program
