Heavy equipment operators can't always see you, even when you're in plain sight. Wait for a clear signal that you've been seen. Most construction equipment incidents can be prevented through proper training, routine inspections, hazard awareness, and adherence to established safety procedures. – Are you trained to use the equipment? – Was the equipment inspected? – Are you wearing all the appropriate PPE? – Did you check all of your blind spots? – Are you following the safety procedures?
