It’s that time of year again—Open Enrollment (OE) runs from November 3 through December 3! This is your opportunity to review and make changes to your benefits for the upcoming year.

We’re pleased to share that Joe Jordan has been promoted to Program Manager for the Mechanical group at GDEB Groton. With 35 years of experience (16 with A/Z), Joe brings deep technical knowledge and proven leadership to this role. He joins Kevin Grillo (CSA) and Jim Heist (Electrical) in leading our program management teams at GDEB Groton.

Jon has been the glue holding our RWJ NBI CHP Project together! His flexibility in supporting off-hours work at the hospital to accommodate critical electrical switchover work has been critical to driving our project toward completion. This NJ project features complex technical aspects and challenging personalities in a 120+ year-old facility. Jon has approached the project with professionalism and dedication, and we appreciate his efforts to deliver exceptional outcomes to our client.

Exciting news from the Milford office — our team was recently awarded a $2.3M Elevator Upgrade project at the Yale Physicians Building through the MPSA program! The scope of work includes upgrading three existing elevators, including the motors, pulleys, and controllers. Well done team!

GOOD CATCH OF THE WEEK
A subcontractor TM was observed partially hanging over the upper roof edge at the Bedoukian New Reactor System project site in Danbury, CT. Although a parapet and top rail were in place as fall protection controls, the TM moved beyond these safeguards, exposing themselves to a fall hazard. The potential fall distance to the lower roof was approximately 10', 6". The team was immediately alerted, and the TM was removed from the site for safety protocol review.
