Electric Boat has selected A/Z as its design-build partner for the new 400,000 SF Machining Facility in Quonset Point, RI. This $200 million initiative—the single largest project in A/Z’s history—will begin with design and preconstruction where our team and partners will develop the GMP necessary to make this facility a reality for GDEB.
We competed against some of the strongest and most nationally recognized construction managers in the country. This selection once again proves that THE TEAM is what truly differentiates A/Z. This win was not about flash or promises—it was proven commitment, consistency, and service delivered repeatedly over time that earned GDEB’s trust.
This project will create significant future self-perform opportunities for our local trade teams, supported by craft professionals across all groups, as the work advances. Our ability to integrate self-perform work with trusted subcontractor partners remains one of our strongest differentiators and a key reason for our continued success with GDEB.
