A project years in the making, the National Coast Guard Museum is closer to reality than ever now that A/Z has had our GMP contract of $105,043,000 fully signed and approved by the NCGMA board!
A/Z first bid on and began supporting preconstruction for the museum in 2018. Since that time, our team has worked through uncertainty associated with federal funding and the COVID-19 pandemic as well as evolving requirements and the need for out-of-the-box solutions. While we completed the bulkhead and began construction on the building in 2025, the future of the project has always been in a delicate position prior to the execution of our GMP contract.
While the building will be located on the New London, CT waterfront, this milestone represents a huge win for everyone in our company regardless of job site or office location! The project reflects years of belief, resilience, and teamwork coming, and it is a fantastic way for us to start off a safe and successful 2026 as we implement our business plan and strategic growth plan! Stay tuned for more updates on project progress.
