We’re excited to share some big news: A/Z is being joined by Network Installation Services, Inc. (NIS), a Connecticut-based telecom and network cabling firm. This acquisition by TCC strengthens our self-perform capabilities and supports our continued growth across Connecticut.

Who is NIS?

Founded in Connecticut nearly three decades ago, NIS has built its business around cable system design, installation, testing, and project management. Their experience includes structured cabling, fiber optics, wireless systems, data centers, outside plant, security systems, audio/visual systems, and specialty telecommunications infrastructure.

NIS has built strong client relationships in many of the same markets A/Z serves, including healthcare, education, commercial, manufacturing, and mission-critical environments.

Their experience strengthens our ability to support clients in these sectors while creating new opportunities for A/Z to grow relationships across Connecticut.

Strengthening Our Self-Perform Strategy

This acquisition directly supports A/Z’s strategic growth plan. By adding NIS’s telecom workforce and expertise, we are expanding our self-perform capabilities, increasing our capacity in Connecticut, and positioning A/Z to better support clients in Central and Western CT.

More than 30 NIS team members are joining A/Z, bringing deep expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, network infrastructure, and telecommunications systems. Susan and Robert Walsh, the founders of NIS, will continue with A/Z to help support continuity for team members, clients, and ongoing work.
