A/Z Observes National Safety Stand-Down

In observance of this week’s National Safety Stand-Down, personnel at A/Z Corporation project sites across the Eastern United States are putting their tools down for a moment to talk safety. Specifically, this OSHA-sponsored event gives companies the opportunity to reinforce the importance of fall prevention and protection. A/Z team members and trade contractors will be among the hundreds of thousands of workers to participate in this nationwide event over the week of May 8.

A/Z’s culture of outstanding EH&S is deeply ingrained in our staff and partners. The well-being of these personnel and all those who enter or work near our project sites is our foremost priority—both with this week’s safety stand-down and the safety commitment we promote every day of the year.

During this week’s stand-down, we are pausing work at many of our sites to hold a gathering with workers where we are discussing fall prevention and other key safety issues. The stand-down is part of a broad spectrum of EH&S practices that have consistently allowed A/Z to safely execute logistically complex projects of every scale.
