LSNE & A/Z Complete Diverse Lab & Office Upgrades

A/Z has completed the renovation of approximately 18,000 square feet of Lyophilization Services of New England’s (LSNE) facility at its Commerce Drive campus in Bedford, NH. The space now includes the addition of a mezzanine and the fit-out of more than 5,000 sf of new lab space along with offices, conference rooms, and storage areas throughout both the first and second floors. The first floor contains the lab spaces and the supporting offices, reception, and conference areas, and the second floor primarily contains office space and records storage. In addition, the project encompassed new ceilings, lighting, and specialty finishes, as well as MEP systems that consisted of a new rooftop AHU, a new standby generator with ATS, a pH neutralization system, and dedicated exhaust circuits.

We were also responsible for renovating the CGMP warehouse on this campus with the objective of supporting product segregation. The space was separated with security barriers and fit-out with new portable cold storage containers. The HVAC distribution system was balanced to meet the CGMP storage requirements of the new space, and the area also received upgraded fire protection systems, refinished epoxy floors, and new LED lighting.

Prior to these recent projects, A/Z successfully completed several projects related to its aseptic manufacturing process. Our work included upgrades to a medical device suite to support the production of bulk drug products within a Grade A2 environment. Additionally, we built out sterile staging and airlock areas to serve an aseptic filling suite.

Our work with LSNE is demonstrative of the diverse range of services that A/Z provides to our clients in the Science & Technology sector. You can learn more about the depth and complexity of our work here.
