Announcing an additional office location in Milford, CT.

We are thrilled to announce that A/Z has opened a new office location at 472 Wheelers Farm Road in Milford, CT to better service our Southern Connecticut and New York clients. This office adds a sixth location for A/Z with offices currently located in Hartford, CT; Marlborough, MA; Hopkinton, RI; East Windsor, NJ; and our corporate headquarters in North Stonington, CT. The new Milford office is 4,500 SF and will be fully occupied and operational by May 2021. We have retained two seasoned construction management professionals who will oversee operations for a staff of over 20 team members.

Henry Cence will be A/Z’s new Director of Major Projects. Henry is an experienced construction manager with a demonstrated history of successfully completing complex, challenging construction assignments across a multitude of market sectors and geographical locations. Skilled in all aspects of the various stages of the construction management process—from business development through preconstruction, construction, and occupancy. Henry is a proven, results-driven leader and team builder with an established record for meeting clients’ project objectives. He also maintains qualifications as an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).

Henry’s experience spans over 30 years with the majority of those at Skanska Building Inc. His achievements include a 350,000 SF renovation at the State Office Building in Hartford, the Stamford Hospital Tower Expansion, the $69 million Springfield Data Center, and the ESPN Digital Center.

We’re also pleased to announce the hiring of Stephen Giametta as a Senior Project Manager based out of our new Milford office. Stephen maintains over 20 years of experience supervising and managing multimillion-dollar commercial construction projects. He has a compelling, assertive management style and is an innovative leader with a proven track record of success in achieving time, budget and quality goals on a broad range of projects.

Some of Stephen’s previous building accomplishments while at Caldwell Walsh and Turner Construction include classroom renovations at Fordham University, a building addition at Fairfield University, healthcare upgrades at Caremount Medical, a clean room and office fit-out for Yale New Haven Health, and a large renovation to Madison Square Garden.
