Constitution Surgery Center East

A/Z collaborated with Constitution Surgery Center East for the launch of a new surgical facility in Waterford, CT. This 20,000 sf building was constructed from the ground-up to house a range of surgical amenities. The center features four main operating rooms, along with support areas that include sterilization and decontamination space, sterile storage, and an anesthesia work room. The pre- and post-operation amenities include a 14-bay PACU unit, a centralized nursing station, medication and nourishment centers, and meeting space. The public-facing areas of the surgical center include reception and registration areas, business offices, a cafe, and restrooms. Additionally, staff have access to lounges and locker rooms.
