Upgrades for Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Provider
A/Z Corporation’s relationship with Christiana Care Health System continues with new projects underway at the healthcare provider’s largest facility, the 913-bed 1.3-million-square-foot Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.
The improvements, which vary in size and scope, are all meant to make the area’s leading hospital operate with even greater efficiency and reliability. Work underway includes an emergency generator replacement, a boiler conversion, replacement of rooftop HVAC equipment, and a comprehensive update to exterior and interior facility way finding signage.
The upgrades will be efficient, built to minimize long-term maintenance, and implemented while minimizing impacts to ongoing hospital operations. A/Z is providing a holistic project solution to include permitting and inspections, equipment procurement, and mechanical and electrical upgrades to complete these projects. A/Z previously completed construction of a CHP facility for this client.
