The production of a new CHP at A/Z’s Engineering, Fabrication, & Logistics Center marked a major milestone for both our company and the State of Rhode Island. The unit is the first of its kind to be manufactured in the state. The process was completed through the combined efforts of A/Z’s engineers, technicians, and trades personnel. The system, which is based around an 820 kW reciprocating engine, was installed at a local healthcare facility. It was commemorated at a ribbon cutting ceremony that drew state and local officials, including RI State Senator Dennis Algiere. A/Z’s efforts were recognized by commendations from the RI State Senate and the RI House of Representatives.
