Converting Former Labs into Dynamic Offices at Sanofi

A/Z recently completed extensive renovations to 45 NYA on Sanofi’s Framingham campus. Drawing on a well-established understanding of the campus and Sanofi’s stringent safety and cleanliness requirements, A/Z oversaw the conversion of lab space into a new office environment.

The project encompassed the demolition of numerous pieces of specialized lab equipment including autoclaves, fume hoods, and -80˚ C freezers as well as specialty piping and fixtures serving the lab space. Once complete, new HVAC system and controls were installed to accommodate the new purpose of the area. 35 seats were added to the renovated space along with four huddle rooms, a lounge area, and a conference room.
