A/Z was engaged to design and construct storage facilities at Coca-Cola Beverage Northeast’s East Hartford, CT plant. The upgraded facilities will be used to store the concentrates used in the manufacturing process.

The project encompassed renovating the existing storage space creating a new ambient storage area as well as a cooler for concentrate storage. New automatic spill barriers were installed along with new sprinkler systems and a new duct system to accommodate the new layout.

The work took place within the operational, clean manufacturing environment and required careful coordination and planning to mitigate disruption to the manufacturing processes.
