Project Manager – Electrical Connecticut

POSITION SUMMARY:

A/Z Corporation is currently seeking Electrical Project Manager with experience in industrial power distribution, specialty manufacturing and/or power plant contruction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial and industrial electrical/mechanical construction projects
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• PMP preferred
• Strong software proficiency, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
• Strong communication skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage 5-10 concurrent projects ranging in size/scope from $50K to $5M
• Document Management – Experience with Prolog, Timberline, or similar software a plus
• Schedule Management – Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Projects, or similar a plus
• Change Order Management – Estimating experience required; software experience a plus
• Job Cost Management – Develop project budgets, work breakdown structures and generate regular job cost forecast reports
• Procurement – material and equipment
• Subcontractor Management
• Adherence to Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety policies
• Provide a pro-active and positive Client interface throughout the delivery of services
• Quality Control Management
• Project Closeout
