Renovated Bio-Physics Labs at Wesleyan

With the goal of bringing existing laboratory space in the Hall-Atwater Building up to modern standards, Wesleyan University engaged A/Z to provide them with a facility to support future generations of students and faculty.

The major renovation involved both wet and dry laboratories, complying with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.  Each of the four labs are about 1,000 square feet in size.

After the space was gutted, the team installed new MEP systems, case work, and fume hoods. All of the work was performed around the daily operations of the campus.  A/Z self-performed the work, using our own civil, mechanical and electrical tradespeople.

Bringing the latest science and technology to educational facilities is something that A/Z has extensive experience with. Learn about related projects here.
