A/Z provided construction management services for the 31 NYA Laboratory Renovations Project, which encompassed the reconfiguration of existing laboratory space, as well as a new building addition to support the installation of a cold room. This included equipment installations and the MEP infrastructure that would keep this storage area running smoothly and consistently. The renovation also encompassed major renovations to the 31 NYA building’s core and shell, which included a glass and glazing system and new masonry walls. Additionally, the project team was responsible for fitting out a mechanical room with three custom-built AHUs and exhaust fans to serve the expansion. The completion of the 31 NYA Laboratory Renovations was essential to supporting the laboratories and office space for research and development scientists and staff.
