A group of research and administration space within the Grimshaw Gudewicz Medical Building Addition in the Bio Med Complex was reconfigured into a germ-free animal housing facility within NIH and AAALAC guidelines. This space serves as a multi-user specialty housing area to support unique rodent housing requirements within the facility. It features an open floor plan that houses multiple ventilated racks, a biosafety changing station, and sink.
