The United Illuminating Company engaged A/Z to provide architectural, engineering, and estimating / preconstruction services for modifications to its Waterfront Road office facility in New Haven, CT. A/Z’s team of design and engineering professionals worked in close collaboration with UI personnel to design and plan a series of critical renovations to the facility. The team developed plans to completely reconfigure the main office area of the building to accommodate 60 workstations, conference and huddle rooms, a training room, and a break area. Other interior improvements were designed to include a transition to all LED lighting, new ACT ceiling, and the replacement of all carpet and VCT throughout the facility.
