A/Z managed the development of a new medical office building (MOB) for Marshall Properties that encompassed the development of a facility from the ground-up on a parcel in East Providence, RI. The MOB is an 80,000+ sf building consisting of four floors and a basement, and features a combination of clinical space and offices for the tenants. The building was designed with a cast-in-place foundation, which includes the basement area. The MOB is a steel-framed structure with concrete slabs for the floor footprint on each level. The exterior of the building consists of a metal stud-framed wall system with multiple siding finishes. The site itself was developed with parking for 310 vehicles and approximately 20% of the total developed site area for landscaping. The building  supports its two tenants with a range of space that A/Z fit-out: examination rooms, nurse stations, procedure rooms, laboratory space, collaboration areas for doctors, offices and conference rooms, and reception / waiting areas.
