A/Z managed the development a surgical facility and medical offices in Rocky Hill, CT. The 24,000 SF first-floor of the facility houses the medical office with 20 examination rooms, a pair of imaging suites, a physical therapy gym, casting bays, offices, and a cafe. The 29,500 SF ambulatory surgery center occupies the second floor of the building; it features seven operating suites, pre- and post-operation areas, and nurse stations. Back-of-house areas on this level include decontamination and sterilization areas and equipment storage as well as offices, meeting space, and locker rooms for staff. Each building level has a dedicated reception and waiting area.
