A/Z collaborated with Mystic Seaport to manage the development of the Thompson Exhibit Building and the renovation of the adjacent outdoor quad area. The project has added a 14,000 sf facility to the historic shipyard in Mystic, CT that features exhibit space for displays and events, a reception area, a retail shop, a café, and administrative offices. As the site was fully operational throughout the course of the renovations, the team placed great emphasis on preserving the experience and safety of the guests as they enjoyed the facilities and grounds.
