Earth Expo & Convention Center Ready
We are tremendously excited to announce the completion of the Earth Expo & Convention Center at Mohegan Sun. A/Z has served as the Construction Manager for this project, overseeing the $80 million development of this 275,000-square-foot facility that further solidifies Mohegan Sun’s position as one of the region’s leading hospitality destinations.
Mohegan Sun recently held its ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility, officially opening it for business. In attendance were local and state dignitaries, Mohegan Tribe members, Mohegan Sun resort and project staff, the A/Z project team, and members of the local community. The Earth Expo & Convention Center features a wide range of amenities that are certain to make it an attractive event location located between Boston and New York. These include a massive, open exhibition hall, a ball room, and a large, wrap-around terrace. More on facility features can be found within the fact sheet published by Mohegan Sun.
Exciting events are already booked for the new facility beginning with the annual Barrett-Jackson vehicle auction, which runs from June 20 to 23. Mohegan Sun’s President & General Manager, Ray Pineault, spoke to the great experience that will be provided to guests and exhibitors alike:
