Lonza’s B233 South Warehouse underwent a comprehensive conversion into a cGMP storage facility. The warehousing area was designed as a tightly monitored and controlled environment. The facility features pressurized hazardous and non-hazardous sampling laboratories with a pair of fume hoods and Class 1000 HEPA filtration. The cGMP warehouse also features ambient storage for raw materials, chemical storage, a consumable storage room with a double-door airlock, a quarantine area, and a shipping/receiving area to support distribution to Lonza’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
