P2 Science is a renewable chemicals company that uses a unique process to convert feedstocks into high-value, specialty chemicals, including flavor and fragrance ingredients. Recently, A/Z was engaged to design and construct a process scale up for their Naugatuck, CT location. The scale up included the fit out of a hazardous area process room and a 40’ high detached reactor building. The reactor building encompassed pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, and several reactors as well as a substantial MEP package. In addition, a process reactor skid was designed, fabricated, and installed to support the facility.
